Wake Me Up Before You Go Go

Gold Coast M1 commuters will now be able to satisfy their caffeine cravings with ease, with the opening of the brand new Zarraffa’s Coffee Drive Thru on Olsen Avenue, Molendinar next week.

Situated just prior to the Smith Street westbound exit, and part of the Freedom Fuel site, coffee-lovers can grab-and-go with their favourite beverage, without even having to leave their car.

“That’s the beauty of our drive thru stores,” explained Zarraffa’s CEO, Kenton Campbell. “It’s why we research extensively to find the perfect locations, to increase convenience to our customers while still delivering an exceptional standard of coffee”.

The 130 square metre store is also handy for a respite from shopping at the adjacent Aldi Supermarket, or on the way to the neighbouring Bunnings Warehouse.

“All of our drive thrus on the East Coast are designed to cater to a wide range of customers; from the professional or tradie on their way to work in Brisbane, to the grocery shopper or ‘weekend warrior’ who needs time out in a comfy chair to enjoy their double shot, caramel mocha on almond milk.”

This store opening brings the Australian-owned company closer to the milestone 75 store mark and in its 20th year of business, the Gold Coast-based company is prepping for interstate expansion.

“It’s happening this year, we’re taking our first concerted step toward moving our ‘giraffes’ into Blues territory,” said Kenton. “This would never have been possible without the support of our very loyal customer base originating right here on the Gold Coast, over two decades ago.”

The new Olsen Ave store will open its doors just a short hop from the existing Crestwood store and both are owned by long term franchisees, Jan and Max White, who will be joined by their son Kelly – who was formerly Zarraffa’s Design Manager for the past 12 years.

“I believe Kelly’s experience will be invaluable in the running of the store and his passion for the brand, combined with the multi-generational ownership, is testament to the strength of our franchise offering,” said Kenton.

“Jan and Max have been in the Zarraffa’s system for the past 12 years, operating a number of stores over this time, including Hope Island and Helensvale. The wealth of knowledge and experience they have will be essential in operating, what is set to be, a very popular location.”

The store opens officially to the public on Friday 12th May.

ZARRAFFA’S COFFEE DRIVES BACK INTO ROCKHAMPTON

It comes with great excitement that the specialty coffee QSR announces the opening of the doors of their latest drive thru store, located at 61 Musgrave Street in Berserker!

After searching for the perfect site to relocate, from the previous Stockland’s store in late 2016, Zarraffa’s has today opened their doors to their 37th drive thru location, offering patrons the opportunity to order their favourite daily coffee without having to leave the car.

“We have enjoyed such support in Rocky and we are thrilled to be back in operation with the addition of a drive thru in the northside of town,” says Zarraffa’s Coffee Founder and CEO, Kenton Campbell.

Customers can also enjoy the African-inspired indoor dining option at the store, relaxing in comfort as they enjoy a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, and delicious food, across the day.

Located at the river end of Musgrave Street, the drive-thru store offers two entry points and plenty of on-site parking.

“The added convenience of the drive thru is just one upside to the new location. Being open for a vast majority of the day means our customers should be able to enjoy their favourite cup of Zarraffa’s when it suits them best.”

The new store has created local employment opportunities, with the company hiring 28 staff from the store’s surrounds, with some familiar faces from the pre-existing store set to take shift.

“We have a great barista team who are ready to get back to the business of serving up coffee to local customers.”
