United Blends of Zarraffa's- Supporting Australian Farmers

Known for its world-famous country music festival and wide, open plains, Tamworth has recently become home to new Zarraffa’s Coffee Franchisees, Cam Lane and Sally Cook.

After relocating from their ‘big city’ Queensland base, the pair have settled into their north east New South Wales community and opened the region’s first Zarraffa’s Coffee drive thru.

“Before we opened the store, we were both very loyal customers of Zarraffa’s for the past 16 years so there is no other business we wanted to be involved with,” explained Cam and Sally.

With Sally originally hailing from the Tamworth region, the pair have both loved seeing many familiar faces; appreciative of their generous support and well wishes.

“The community has welcomed us with open arms, and we couldn't be more grateful for that. Tamworth is a community with a big old country heart, one which we’re truly proud to be a part of.”

Just a couple of hours east of Tamworth, in the remote town of Dorrigo, are Renae and Scott Connell, one of the 215 dairy farm owners that make up the Norco family.

With a population of less than 2,000 people, both Renae and Scott agree that while sometimes things can be a little lonely, they describe their life as ‘living the dream’.

“It’s a pretty good feeling to wake up in the morning and it just be the two of us working together,” explained Renae.

Proving they are some of the best in the business, in 2019 Renae was awarded Young Dairy Farmer of the Year, a humbling surprise for them both however no shock to the rest of the dairy community, as Renae and Scott are well known for putting their heart and soul into their dairy farming.

“We’re very passionate about producing a high quality, 100% Australian farmer-owned product,” explained Scott.

Both couples, in their respective labours of love are eager to produce only the best for their customers, and it’s clear that passion runs in their blood.

“To put it simply, coffee is everything. We are both genuine coffee lovers, so we know the importance of serving an individually perfect cup of coffee every time to our customers,” said Cam and Sally.

With Zarraffa’s being 100% Australian-owned and operated since its inception over two decades ago, Cam and Sally are grateful to be part of the ever-growing Zarraffa’s story.

“We are so proud to be part of a family-owned, Australian business. Being able to support locally owned, Australian businesses has never been more important than in today's current climate.”

Together, Zarraffa’s and Norco share in over 150 years of being proudly 100% Australian-owned and operated.

Your daily cup of ‘liquid gold’, combining Norco’s award-winning milk and your favourite Zarraffa’s beans, helps not only the wider Zarraffa’s community of local Franchisees, Managers and Baristas, but a whole host of Aussie farming families too.
