Upper Coomera Store Re-Opens With a Bang

It’s time to celebrate as our beloved Zarraffa’s Upper Coomera store finally re-opens its doors after a four-month closure.

Staff members of the Upper Coomera store, excited for the re-opening!

The result of a devasting fire, that caused in vicinity of $500K worth of damage, franchisees Bruce Fullerton, Elissa and Chris Hutton are thrilled to be on the other side of the experience.

“It was totally unexpected being woken up in the middle of the night to hear your store is literally burning,” said Chris Hutton.

“It’s been a huge learning curve - with the support of our head office team, our insurers and more, we have literally had a facelift, so something new and improved has come from it. “

A popular destination for northern Gold Coast locals the Upper Coomera store is back trading regular hours, seven days a week.

“The entire store has been refurbished - from basic things like our coffee machines and ceilings, to an upgrade of the interior and exterior design. It will all feel more ‘specialty coffee’; more modern and fresh,” said Chris.

“While it’s been a long road to recovery, our entire team is beyond thrilled to be opening the doors again for our locals. Our team have been incredible and so has the support from the community, especially those customers who have continued to visit just to check in with the team.”

“We can’t thank our customers enough for standing by us – their smiles of encouragement and words of support have meant a lot and we’re just so glad to be up and running once again.”

Zarraffa’s Upper Coomera is open seven days a week, from 5am to 8pm.
