Springwood, your new favourite coffee spot has arrived!
After nearly two decades with Zarraffa’s Coffee and 14 years serving the local community, longstanding franchisees Mayur Patel, Hemal and Mona Keniya, Rupa and Nik Patel are returning to Springwood with a brand-new drive thru store. For the team, it feels a little like coming home.
A New Chapter IN SPRINGWOOD
The Springwood store marks an exciting new chapter for the longstanding franchisee group, whose journey with Zarraffa’s Coffee spans almost 20 years. The group now collectively operates six stores across Queensland at Currumbin, Ferry Road, Heathwood, Hendra, Sugarland and now at Springwood.
The new location also represents the next step for the former Chatswood Road Store, which served the community for 14 years before closing in 2025. Its transition to Springwood has paved the way for the new Zarraffa’s Drive Thru model, bringing greater convenience and faster service to local coffee lovers.
Mayur, Hemal and Mona first joined the Zarraffa’s network in 2006, with Rupa and Nik joining the group in 2011.
Together, they have grown from operating their first store in Palm Beach on the Gold Coast, Queensland, to building a successful multi-site portfolio across the state, while remaining closely connected to their local communities and store teams to deliver memorable customer experiences.
Franchisee, Mayur says, “Springwood has always held a special place for us because of the strong relationships we have built throughout the 14 years we served the community at Chatswood Road and became part of their daily routines.”
“When the store closed, we had always hoped we would have the opportunity to return and now we’re excited to reconnect with familiar faces and welcome new customers through the drive thru, this time offering even more convenience.”

Springwood, your daily coffee routine just got a whole lot more exciting. The latest store has been thoughtfully designed to make your Zarraffa’s experience easier, faster and more convenient, whether you’re grabbing your morning coffee, picking up breakfast or treating yourself while you’re on the go.
On the menu, you’ll find Zarraffa’s signature coffee blends alongside a range of food options, including freshly baked in-store items, breakfast favourites and snacks to pair with your coffee. In other words, your Springwood coffee run is officially sorted.
Simply head through the drive thru or walk up to the service window for all your Zarraffa’s favourites.
MEET THE SPRINGWOOD HERD
The new store is also expected to create up to 25 local jobs, with a strong focus on training and development as the team settles into its new home.
For Zarraffa’s, the opening comes during a pretty special year as we celebrate 30 years of serving coffee and growing alongside the communities we call home. With more than 85 stores across Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia, South Australia and Victoria, the herd continues to grow, and we’re very happy to have Springwood back in the mix.
