Local community support with Drought Angels

In response to the devastating recent floods in both South-East Queensland and New South Wales, we are compelled as a brand to assist those in need.

From our franchisees and staff, our milk partner Norco, their farmers and families, local communities and more, the need is great to do what we can to lend a hand.

Zarraffa’s have donated $75,000.00 in support of the Drought Angel’s Flood Appeal, matching their original fundraising goal.

“It’s never more important than in times of like these that we lend a hand to help families and communities who have been so severely impacted by events out of their control,” said Zarraffa’s CEO, Marnie Sheldon.

“By giving to a grassroots organisation like Drought Angels we are hoping to make a difference in the daily lives of those affected as they rebuild, especially in rural areas.”

Drought Angels’ mission is to provide direct and timely financial assistance, essential resources and meaningful relief for Primary Producers across Australia impacted by drought and natural disasters.

A Queensland-based rural support charity, Drought Angels, who operate across Australia through direct personal contact with farmers, have earned a respected reputation for providing personalised, practical, heartfelt, and discreet assistance, sensitive to the needs of each family.

They provide food hampers and care packs through to prepaid VISAs and local store vouchers in order to help them rebuild their homes and businesses

With our increasing footprint in NSW and our supply partnership with @Norco Milk, who’s own farming families have experienced heavy devastation with the flooding, supporting those in our ‘backyard’ has never been more important.

“We are proudly southeast Queensland based and when a disaster strikes so close to home, it’s imperative we do our part.”

With a massive clean-up and recovery ahead, we encourage you to join us in supporting however you can. Visit https://droughtangels.org.au/ways-to-give/ and see how you can get involved
