ZARRAFFA’S DONATE COFFEE VAN FOR FUNDRAISING INITIATIVE
Zarraffa’s Coffee CEO, Kenton Campbell, kick-started the company’s annual National Franchise Conference with a generous donation to the Queensland Police Initiative – Project Booyah!
“Donating our coffee van to the Project Booyah team enables the organisation to attend local community events, selling coffee to raise funds towards the future of the program,” said Kenton at the key handover that took place at Sea World Resort.
Project State Coordinator, Senior Sergeant Frame, started the Project Booyah program four years ago with the aim to help at-risk youth bridge their disconnect within the local community.
“Getting these young people to feel engaged, valued and included, ensures they can become respected and productive members of their local community which can achieve significant savings in justice, welfare, health care, and the protection of social and human capital,” said Senior Sergeant Frame.
Zarraffa’s Coffee has assisted with numerous Project Booyah initiatives since the commencement of their support two years ago, most recently sponsoring the organisation’s first Kokoda Trail trek in Papua New Guinea.
“We are extremely fortunate that Zarraffa’s Coffee has supported this concept from the very beginning and has championed our program in the way that has caused others to stand up and take notice,” Sergeant Frame continued.
