Brewing a Better Future: Zarraffa's Announces 10-Year Partnership with Wildlife Warriors
Zarraffa’s Coffee Commits to 10-Year Partnership with Wildlife Warriors to Support Global Conservation Efforts
Australia’s leading specialty coffee retailer, Zarraffa’s Coffee, has announced a new ten-year partnership with Wildlife Warriors, pledging $500,000 to support vital global conservation efforts.
Building on almost three decades of environmental dedication, this partnership represents Zarraffa’s largest conservation initiative yet, expanding the Aussie-owned and operated company’s impact on an international scale.
Through this commitment, Zarraffa’s customers play an essential role in this mission with every purchase contributing to Wildlife Warriors’ crucial rescue, rehabilitation, and preservation efforts across Australia and beyond.
Conservation has been at the heart of Zarraffa’s Coffee since the brand’s inception in 1996, with initiatives focused on wildlife protection and environmental stewardship.
Zarraffa’s Coffee Managing Director and Founder, Kenton Campbell, who has travelled the world in support of conservation, says that it has been a long-standing goal to work alongside purpose-driven organisations like Wildlife Warriors and Australia Zoo.
“When I met Steve Irwin, he was actually the inspiration for what has become a lifetime drive to support global conservation efforts and align with the Irwin family to amplify a mission that’s close to our hearts,” he said.
“This partnership reflects a shared purpose that’s more than just a corporate alignment, it’s our promise to the planet with our ‘coffee for conservation’ ethos in mind and a team effort to build on a legacy of conservation that lasts.”
“We are aligned with Wildlife Warriors and Australia Zoo, not just in mission but in action, working together to get the job done for conservation where both the intent and impact are real and the journey extends not just to benefit wildlife today, but educating and inspiring future generations to carry on the commitment.”
Wildlife Warriors was founded by Steve and Terri Irwin in 2002 and is a global organisation dedicated to wildlife conservation, habitat preservation, and the rescue and rehabilitation of endangered species. This partnership with Wildlife Warriors emphasises Zarraffa’s commitment to sustainability, creating a meaningful impact in both local and global communities.
Zarraffa’s also proudly continues its ongoing support of Australia Zoo by extending its partnership for an additional two years, pledging to further champion Australia Zoo’s mission to protect wildlife and wild places by supporting conservation education and care for over 1,200 animals.
Darren Gertler, Chief Marketing Officer at Australia Zoo said, “We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Zarraffa’s Coffee, as we join forces and share our dedication to wildlife conservation. Together, we can amplify our efforts and create a lasting impact by sharing our message of protecting wildlife and wild places for future generations.”
“Through Wildlife Warriors, we support a number of long-running domestic and international research projects in addition to protecting multiple conservation properties, giving wildlife their greatest chances of survival. If we can teach people about wildlife, it’s our first step towards saving wildlife. Thanks to our friends at Zarraffa’s Coffee, we are able to inspire and include more people in our lifesaving work.”
With every cup, Zarraffa’s customers are not only savouring premium, locally roasted coffee but are actively supporting critical conservation efforts.
“Thanks to our customers, each purchase supports this shared vision where we are contributing to a purpose much bigger than ourselves. A business of conservation where the return means rescuing animals and sustaining ecosystems. The more we connect, share and show our why, the closer we are to making a lasting change,” Kenton added.
Through this collaboration, Zarraffa’s Coffee aims to demonstrate that each purchase can contribute to preserving wildlife and wild spaces across continents, making each cup part of a greater mission.
