Zarraffa's Coffee, established in 1996, was originally a roasting house operating from the backstreets of Southport on the Gold Coast. Back then, customers would come in for their daily coffee and enjoy a fresh brew, perched on a hessian bag full of green coffee beans yet to be roasted by founder and Managing Director, Kenton Campbell. Kenton's dream was for Zarraffa's Coffee to become Australia’s premium coffee provider, knocking the competition out of the water with an exceptional product and service guarantee. Celebrating over 20 years in retail, the proudly Australian-owned and operated organisation started with a $9,000 personal loan and some good old fashioned hard work.
Zarraffa's currently has over 80 stores across Queensland, Northern NSW and WA. The predominantly franchised stores are made up of traditional shopping centre and strip mall locations, with a significant focus moving forward on opening convenient drive thru sites. The company's major markets include the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Western Australia and regional Queensland including Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast, Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, Rockhampton, Townsville and Cairns. From 2017, franchise opportunities have opened up significantly across New South Wales, Western Australia, Victoria and potentially New Zealand. A wide range of locations and opportunities are available across regional Queensland, NSW, WA with potential for sites in VIC and New Zealand.
Zarraffa's Coffee roasts and blends all of its coffee on a weekly basis, and delivers it fresh to all stores. The national head office doubles as a warehouse roasting facility, producing award-winning blends, and from late 2018 will relocate to a $12.5 million, 4.5-hectare site, located in the heart of the Gold Coast / Brisbane corridor.
We are currently seeking Franchisees for these existing stores and new developments. Don't miss your opportunity to be a part of this dynamic and rapidly growing organisation.

The Belmont North store is located on the picturesque shores of Lake Macquarie, renowned for its protected waterways, boating enthusiasts and much-loved coffee culture.
Store franchisees Trent Moody and Oliver Humphry bring an extensive coffee knowledge and operational know-how, having both worked through the barista ranks and were previous store managers.
Trent and Oliver have relocated to Belmont from Zarraffa's base on the Gold Coast and are confident the greater Newcastle, NSW area will respond favourably to Zarraffa's brand of coffee.
"We've both spent lots of time researching the local market and are awed by the local coffee culture," explains Trent.
"I was lucky enough to be a part of the launch of the Zarraffa's brand in Townsville and the reception for well-made, individualised coffee, available to dine in or drive thru, was phenomenal," he says.
"It's all about giving people their time back; whether it be through convenience to get them on their way or the opportunity to take time out and relax - we know our product and service will deliver."
Trent has another reason to be grateful for a day surrounded by quality coffee.
"It was always a great business to be in with 5am starts, but my partner and I recently became parents to a baby girl and I've discovered that broken sleep and late nights can generally be dulled with a coffee, or two across the day."
Local Franchisee, Terry Bambury - who opened the original Morayfield store in 2005 and also runs the Zarraffa's Currimundi, Maroochydore and Caloundra drive thru stores - recently opened the Morayfield Road drive thru and said the busy location will cater to the growing surrounding communities.
"It's all about choice for local Zarraffa's customers," said Mr Bambury. "The Sunshine Coast, QLD region is growing and we want to be able to provide coffee and meal options to all people; those who have the time to sit and enjoy, and also our busy customers on the go."
Mr Bambury, whose experienced team is familiar with the local community and the demands of a drive thru store, are excited to deliver more options for customers across the day.
"The location has been crying out for one of our drive thru stores, which will now allow for a greater number of people to access good coffee across the day."
An advantage of the Morayfield Road drive thru store is its exceptionally convenient trading hours.
"We'll be open seven days a week from 5am to 10pm so we can cater to tradies and workers first up, parents on the school run, commuters across the day, through to night workers and emergency staff later into the evening."
