Now Brewing: Caboolture South Now Open!

ZARRAFFA’S Caboolture south opens as brand relocates from kiosk to convenience-driven site

Australia’s leading speciality coffee retailer is deepening its roots in one of south-east Queensland’s fastest-growing regions with the launch of its 81st store and brand-new drive thru walk-up location in Caboolture South – opening Tuesday, 12 August.

The latest addition to the network is a strategic relocation of Morayfield Kiosk, paving the way for greater accessibility and customer convenience with the latest iteration of the brand’s innovative drive thru model.

Located at 8 Frank Street next to a service centre, the new Zarraffa’s location offers a dual-lane drive thru experience for quick and convenient service – a growing trend for the specialty coffee company as it transitions away from traditional shopping centres and strip malls.

Owned by seasoned franchisees Ben Old, Terry and Jeanette Bambury, with the addition of Lyndsey Davies who will steer the operations of the new store.

For Lyndsey, this signifies an exciting new chapter as the primary franchisee for the store after starting her journey with Zarraffa’s at the age of 19 and working up from a barista to part-owner of the Mango Hill and Morayfield Road stores under the mentorship of Ben and Terry, who now collectively operate six stores across the group.

“After the past 14 years working within Zarraffa’s, it was the perfect time to take the leap. The best part for me has always been the people and the product, especially the relationships fostered within the team,” Lyndsey said.

“Opening Caboolture South drive thru is about creating more opportunities and extending the community we built at Morayfield Kiosk. Customers can still expect the same level of great service and quality, just more space to walk up and take a seat or grab on-the-go, and I look forward to welcoming new faces and our loyal locals.”

With the shift from kiosk to drive thru, the new Zarraffa’s location will create over 20 new jobs for locals through a dedicated recruitment and training program, in addition to bringing across a number of familiar faces from Morayfield Kiosk to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Primed for Zarraffa’s signature and innovative drive thru model, the new store is just steps away from local amenities and aims to offer more accessibility to premium coffee for busy commuters and families alike.

Zarraffa’s Coffee CEO, Marnie Sheldon, said the Caboolture South store represents the brand’s continued investment in the Moreton Bay growth corridor.

“A big part of our company’s success is the reinvestment of our longstanding franchisees into multi-sites and the trust they have in the brand after decades,” said CEO Marnie Sheldon.

“Ben and Terry have been a big part of the Zarraffa’s family for over 20 years and their ongoing investment in their team and the brand, coupled with a drive to open new stores, has been pivotal in spearheading the brand’s growth across the eastern seaboard.”

“Lyndsey brings with her a wealth of brand experience and this marks a milestone in her journey with Zarraffa’s, it’s been rewarding to see one of our long-serving team members realise their dream.”

The Caboolture South store will feature Zarraffa’s renowned range of signature coffee blends, along with a selection of delicious food options, including the brand’s new freshly baked in store range, breakfast items, and savoury snacks to complement the coffee experience.

Leading the way in retail coffee innovation, Zarraffa’s strategic growth strategy is currently in play, with the Aussie-owned specialty coffee company’s sights set on expanding to over 200 sites nationally in the lead up to the 2032 Brisbane Olympics.
