Swiss Water Decaf Blend

Our decaf offering at Zarraffa’s Coffee is our Swiss Water Decaf Blend.

Sourced mainly from coffee plantations around Mexico and only used in the blend if they have gone through the strictly chemical-free Swiss Water decaffeination process where 95-97% of the caffeine is removed from the beans while keeping in most of the flavour of the coffee.

The Swiss Water Decaf Blend will give you a light orange brightness with a smooth chocolate finish reminding us a lot of Jaffa’s, especially when used to make a latte or cappuccino!

TIPS

• Due to the Swiss Water decaffeination process, the density of the decaf beans can vary a bit more compared to your non-decaf beans, this is due to the caffeine molecules being removed. This means you may need to play around with the grind a little more to be able to pull that perfect shot!

• While we have designed this blend for expresso it also performs well as a filter extraction, meaning those lovers of V60’s and plungers can enjoy a caffeine-free experience as well.
